Since 2018 Ilse Nass hosts the drawing masterclasses at Figura, three times a year.
Figura Dutch academy of Sculpture believes observation is of the highest importance. That’s why the students work predominantly with live models. Also, drawing classes are included during the first year of the program, to train the eye. Learning how to depict the likeness of our subject is our main goal in order to learn the craft. These skills can then be applied to facilitate artistic creation.
